Tickets: The latest best deal is to buy tickets through the International Visitor’s Center.  Dora Breece can buy them.  $29 is the current price as of summer, 2004.  We have to advance the funds to Dora for purchase of the tickets.  However, watch the newspapers.  Better deals may still be available.  Also, inquire about group tickets at 1-818-622-3771.  Generally, you must have 20 people and the discount is not as good as the above.  However, if you have 25, you can get one free ticket.  If money is to be collected from Ambassadors, have the Ambassador Exchange Director do it.  It should be done in advance.  Lunch spot?  Consider finding a restaurant where we can prepay for a meal from the exchange fund. 
HOW TO GET THERE:
-->From 101 going north, exit at Universal Studios Blvd; turn right at signal and follow the signs to the entrance.
-->From the valley, take Hollywood Freeway (101) to Lankershim Blvd. and follow signs to entrance. 
Go up the hill past several parking structures and restaurants to the top, where there will be signs directing you to make a left turn to the fountain and turnaround.  This is our drop off and pick up point.  There are many signs.  If you miss the turn, the next stop is parking, so you will have to turn around and go back.
An FFLA member may serve as Guide to help with tickets.  The guide’s ticket may be purchased with exchange funds.  Ask about foreign language guides (for bus tour, especially Spanish).  Make sure visitors have phone number for their host, as the usual plan is to have them call host when they’re ready to leave.
