A Day in Malibu

We will start our Day in Malibu with a visit to the Getty Villa. A one-of-a-kind destination offering ancient Greek and roman art, and tranquil gardens over looking the ocean.   https://www.getty.edu/visit/villa/

Lunch will be ordered in advance for visiting ambassadors. 

FFLA members and friends have the option of ordering lunch in advance, or purchasing food that day from the cafe. You may also  bring a bag lunch.

Ambassador lunch orders will be received in advance of journey. Hosts do not need to place orders for Ambassadors.

An order menu will be sent to all who register. Order will be placed one week in advance.

There is no entrance fee at the Getty Villa. Parking per car is $20 and advance timed reservations must be made. 

RSVP is required to attend this event with the group.

Carpooling is encouraged. A list of attendees will be available to all who register to assist with carpools.

Following our visit to the Getty Villa, we will do a driving/walking tour to see the highlights of Malibu, often referred to as the "playground of the rich and famous."  Included will be stops at the Malibu Bluffs Park and Point Dume providing beautiful water views, a walk along Broad Beach - home to many movie stars.  And if we are lucky we may see whales and dolphins swimming along the coastline. We end the tour at the Sunset Beach Restaurant to enjoy a drink overlooking the beach.

For those who choose to stay in the area for dinner a suggestion list of restaurants will be provided.

The FFLA Covid-19 policy is in effect for this event.  Verification of full vaccination (includes latest bivalent booster) is required.
